25th ANNUAL ART PROWL: ARTIST APPLICATION
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2026
WHO CAN APPLY: CURRENT ART ROUND TENNESSEE MEMBERS
GUIDELINES:
Art Round Tennessee is accepting applications for member artists to participate in the 25th annual ART Prowl.
ARTIST ELIGIBILITY: You will need to make sure your Art Round Tennessee membership is up-to-date before you apply. ART's annual membership fee is $25. You can sign up to be a member at artroundtennessee.org/membership.
FEES: There is no cost for applying to ART Prowl. If you are accepted, the cost of participating is $125, in addition to your ART Membership. Each applicant will be given a complimentary ART Prowl t-shirt (one per application).
LOGISTICS: Artists will be placed inside businesses around the West Side of Cookeville on November 13 & 14, 2026. The hours will be Friday, November 13th from 3-8 pm and Saturday, November 14th from 10 am-5 pm. If accepted, you will be expected to be available for the entire event. You will be sent a form to be signed by the artist and the host venue verifying you all have gone over the expectations of the event. You will need to return this form to Art Round Tennessee's Director by a designated date, which will differ by host venues. Artists will be provided with publicity on our website and our social media, along with event materials. We encourage you to share the information on your social media and any website.
APPLICATION DETAILS: You will be asked to submit 5 images of your original work that is representative of the work you will be exhibiting at the Prowl, along with a description of each. No AI-generated artwork is permitted.

WHO CAN APPLY: CURRENT ART ROUND TENNESSEE MEMBERS WHO ARE NEW TO ART PROWL AND HAVE BEEN SHOWING/SELLING THEIR WORK FOR LESS THAN A YEAR.

TENNESSEE CENTRAL TRAIL BIKE RACKS
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2026
WHO CAN APPLY: CURRENT ART ROUND TENNESSEE MEMBERS
GUIDELINES:
Art Round Tennessee is accepting applications for member artists to be selected as a featured artist to receive compensation to paint a bike rack that will then be installed by The Tennessee Central Trail at businesses located along the 4.23 mile paved trail for cyclists and walkers that currently spans from Cookeville to Algood. Selected artists will complete their bike racks incrementally throughout the year.

FEES: There is no cost for applying to this opportunity.
COMPENSATION: Selected artists will be provided enamel paint and a primed bike rack and receive $250 grant per artist.
LOGISTICS: Selected artists will be provided with a primed bike rack and enamel paint and given a two week period of time to complete their artwork. Bike racks will be completed incrementally throughout the year. Artists may select where the bike rack is dropped off and need to have a plan in mind of where they would like to paint their rack. Garages, covered porches, and other out buildings with adequate air flow are best. Bike racks are roughly 2’ x 8’ with some variation possible.
APPLICATION DETAILS: Artists must send in a concept of the artwork they intend to paint on the bike rack assigned to them, either by a descriptive paragraph or sketch rendering. Artists must also attach 3-5 photos of other artworks of theirs they feel are a reflection of the quality of work that would be reflected on their bike rack.
