Tabitha Thierjung

As a witch from the south, Tabitha Thierjung uses glass as a fun, informative way to show others that it’s not what they think. She was first introduced to glass by her mother at thirteen and followed suit in 2013, taking her first glass blowing class at Tidewater Community College. After obtaining her associates, she moved to Tennessee with her (now) husband and senior dog, Pearl, to achieve her BFA at the Appalachian Center for Craft. Using nature, witchcraft, and spirituality as inspiration for her glass sculptures, Tabitha is showing others that there is magic in the mundane.
