At Old Salem Design, Sloan creates handcrafted polymer clay earrings designed to be playful, stylish, and affordable. What began in 2019 as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion for making unique jewelry that helps people express their personal style without breaking the bank. Each collection is thoughtfully made with a focus on accessibility, creativity, and everyday wearability.

Aside from making earrings, Sloan serves as the program coordinator for the Highlands Economic Partnership and was a science teacher for the five years prior.
