Ren Rieskamp

I’ve made art since before I could hold a pencil, and in 2009 I sketched a little marshmallow that changed the course of my work. It made my husband laugh and that’s all the encouragement I needed. The following decade (and counting) has been filled with marshmallow characters in more mediums and project types than is appropriate to list. It got us through a difficult time in our lives and has evolved over the years. I love making art, but what I love even more is using that art to make something else… like stationery items such as stickers, notebooks, coloring books, or wrapping paper. It helps bring smiles to even more people than my originals can. To fund my work, my corporate side hustle is typically a graphic arts or adjacent position. Apparently I specialize in marketing, as the last 14 years have been working in this space on the creative side.
