Michele Walsh Gorres

Michele is an international artist who was born and raised in the Midwest and her subjects in art often represent that. She is a self-taught artist whose main interest is drawing in Pencil or Pen&Ink which carries over to her watercolor and Acrylic paintings also. Her subject matter is very diverse, from landscapes and wildlife to farm/ranch life scenarios as well as portraits of any species. After taking a 20-year absence to raise 5 kids while her husband was active-duty military, she has returned to the art scene. She successfully placed in art shows in Norh Dakota and has begun being juried into shows around the US as well at national levels. Recently she and her husband made a big move from North Dakota to Eastern Tennessee, ready to create works from the endless array of inspiration the area offers! She accepts commissions and helps with youth programs when she is asked/needed.
