Faye Watts

Faye began her formal art study in Tokyo, Japan, at Sophia University in the 1960’s. From there she continued it at Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Georgia where she received the M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting. She was awarded a Dodd-Carnegie Fellowship to study in Cortona, Italy, and later on, an exhibition at the General Services Administration in Washington, D.C.
With over 40 years of teaching art in Tennessee on the college and high school levels, she now enjoys gardening and painting full time in her retirement from art education.
