Cynthia Wallace of Gold Impressions has created fine jewelry for decades with designs that enhance individuality, not uniformity. As a studio goldsmith designing and creating thousands of pieces of jewelry over the years, she has helped clients create their perfect piece.

Having shown in galleries out West in the early years, boutiques, trunk shows and concierge service in her current work endeavors. Very recently Cynthia and her husband have moved to the great state of Tennessee to continue her craft. Cynthia graduated with a BS degree in Geology, which metamorphosed in to working with finer rocks and gems during an apprenticeship position with a master goldsmith in Bend, OR. Taking that valuable knowledge and building a studio to create her line of jewelry that has evolved and grown over time.

Cynthia creates jewelry with a variety of gemstones, fossils, pearls, diamonds and metal interest. She uses techniques in lost wax casting and fabrication to build her pieces. Since 2020, Cynthia was an early pioneer in the use of a laser welder to design and build a unique line of jewelry not possible with traditional torch methods. Today, she focuses on a beautiful segment of her talent with the Weave/Scroll line of jewelry. She encapsulates a free moving pearl in a cage of gold that is laser welded to secure the pearl used in the piece. These are made in karat gold or sterling alloy metals. The design possibilities are greatly expanded.

Attention to detail has been her mantra to live by, listen to the client, hear what they are saying and translate that into a beautiful, enduring treasure that may become an archeological artifact of fascination in the future.
